Iberibank Looses Legal Battle To Take Family Legacy Property

IberiaBank alleged that the Debtor filed the case to hinder, delay, or defraud IberiaBank in its efforts to enforce its rights against the Property, and also contended that the Debtor has proposed a Chapter 11 Plan that could not be confirmed. For these reasons, IberiaBank asserted that the case was filed and prosecuted in bad faith, and should be dismissed pursuant to §1112(b) of the Bankruptcy Code.

The judge dissagreed and ruled in favor of the Florida customer.

I bought a home through iberia bank what a mistake! The entire process was a total nightmare. Marcus Coyle and Abby Trant are the most inexperienced lenders I've ever seen. From the beginning they couldn't get the loan right changed it on me 3 times, had to extend, then somehow missed that there was a city tax, and 30 days after I've closed they still keep calling to change something again! Not to mention each change they make has my payment going up ($110 USD) since closing. I'm not a very educated person just a father trying to to better for my family. Iberia bank took advantage of me for there own gains and didn't care if I got the home or not they just wanted to screw me over. They hid things till after closing. I think they want me to fail and steal my home my lender knew how much money I could afford to pay and we have gone over that already. DON'T USE IBERIA BANK!!!!
